Never take tadalafil with nitrates. This includes nitroglycerin, isosorbide, and recreational drugs known as "poppers" (amyl nitrite). Combining tadalafil with nitrates can cause a severe, potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure.

Common side effects (typically mild and short-lived): headache, facial flushing, nasal congestion, indigestion, mild back or muscle aches. Most men tolerate tadalafil very well. Contact your provider if side effects are persistent or concerning.
